What data gets processed

When you take the quiz, the answers you pick and the name or handle you type in are used only to calculate your score and draw your card. That processing happens entirely on your own device:

• It's never sent to any server.
• It's never saved in cookies or browser storage.
• It disappears the moment you close or reload the page.

The site doesn't support photo uploads. Your card's avatar is an emoji you pick from a list.

The card you share

Your card image is generated on your device and never uploaded anywhere. If you use the share button, your operating system hands that image off to whatever app you pick (TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp, or another). From that point on, that app's own privacy policy applies, not ours.

The vote duels

The aura duels (the pages where you vote on which character or celebrity wins) work differently from the quiz: your vote is sent to our server and stored in a database, because that's how the live ranking everyone sees gets built.

• What gets stored per vote: which option won, which lost, and when. We don't store your name, your handle, or anything you typed into the quiz.
• We also process a version of your IP address run through a one-way cryptographic hash, never the IP itself. We use it only to stop someone from voting hundreds of times a minute and skewing the ranking. That hash can't be reversed to figure out who you are, and it's never linked to any name or account.

The counter of how many duels you've voted in (so we can flag when you hit 5 or 10) lives only in your own browser (localStorage) and is never sent to us.

Third parties

Even though the site doesn't collect data, loading any web page means your device talks to whoever's serving it. In this case:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and the duels server. Like any server, it processes your IP address to respond to requests and for security purposes.
• Google Analytics (GA4) gives us traffic stats: which pages get visited, from what kind of device and approximate country, plus events like finishing the quiz or voting in a duel. Google processes your IP address in truncated form to estimate your location and may use cookies (see the Cookie Policy) to distinguish visits. That data is also governed by Google's own privacy policy.

The site's typefaces are hosted on our own server, not on Google Fonts, so they don't create any extra third-party connection.

Minors

A good chunk of the people who visit this site are teenagers. That's exactly why it's built to need no data at all: it doesn't ask for your age, your real name, your email, or photos, and there's no way to sign up.

Your rights

Data protection law gives you the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. The aura quiz doesn't store anything of yours, so there's nothing to manage there. The duels store your vote along with a hash of your IP that we can't tie back to your identity, so we can't locate or delete an individual record on request, but you can simply stop voting in duels at any time without it affecting the rest of the site. For data processed by Google Analytics, you can manage your activity through your Google account or block analytics cookies (see the Cookie Policy). Changes to this policy

This page was updated on August 31, 2026 to reflect the addition of Google Analytics and the database-backed duels system, neither of which existed when the earlier version of this text was written. If we ever add advertising or any other data use, we'll update this page before turning it on.
