Aura Farming Glossary
Updated: · 5 min read
This aura farming glossary collects and explains every term from the meme: from "aura farming" and "aura points" to the site's own modes, the aura championship, and the concepts it gets mixed up with, like "6-7" or "rizz".
Core terms
- Aura farming
- Building up charisma on purpose through actions that look effortless. The central verb of the whole meme: reacting well without explaining yourself or seeking anyone's approval.
- Aura points
- A fictional, made-up unit for measuring an action. There's no official scale — the convention is round, exaggerated numbers, both for gains and losses.
- Having aura
- Reacting well to a tough situation without showing effort or asking for anyone's reaction. The meme's ideal state.
- Losing aura
- The opposite of having aura: over-explaining, reacting badly, or fishing for approval after something happens.
- Negative aura
- A running total below zero after an embarrassing moment. Used as a joke, never seriously.
- Aura bankruptcy
- Extreme negative aura, when someone chains several mistakes together in a short time.
- Aura farming kid
- The internet nickname for Rayyan Arkan Dikha, the Indonesian kid from the canoe whose 2025 video started the meme.
- Aura edits
- Short videos that pair an everyday moment or an anime scene with epic music, framing calm or power as maximum effortlessness.
- Infinite aura
- An exaggeration of the concept describing someone (real or fictional) who never loses composure, as in the joke that certain athletes have infinite aura.
Modes and formats on this site
- Gamer Mode
- One of the site's three aura calculator modes, covering matches, voice chat, and win streaks.
- School Mode
- The calculator's school-themed mode: exams, presentations, hallways.
- Party & Crush Mode
- The mode for nights out and texts with a crush: the blue double check, 2 am messages, dancing at a party.
- Aura championship
- An informal pose-and-entrance contest that started in schools and went viral on TikTok in 2025. Whoever's watching decides who has more aura, on the spot and out loud.
- Aura duel / aura battle
- A one-on-one vote between two options — everyday archetypes, historical figures, or celebrities — where the winner steals aura points from the loser. The ranking updates live with every vote.
- Gamer aura / football aura / anime aura
- Themed variants of the same concept applied to gaming, football, and anime, each with its own test on the site.
Related terms (and what they aren't)
- 6-7 / six seven
- A different meme that circulated around the same time as aura farming and showed up in the same videos. It comes from a song and has no fixed meaning — it has no real connection to aura farming.
- Rizz
- A related but distinct meme: short for "charisma," and specifically about the ability to attract or flirt. Aura farming is broader — it applies to any situation, not just romantic ones.
- Esoteric aura / aura colors
- A supposed energy field with colors and spiritual meanings. It has no connection to TikTok's aura, which is purely a metaphor for charisma.
- Main character energy
- A related English-language phrase: acting like you're the protagonist of your own life. It overlaps partly with "having aura," but it's more about a general attitude than one specific reaction.
